FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to desiccants used as adsorbents to remove water vapors from gas on installations for drying natural and petroleum gases. Process is based on membrane technology and consists of two steps at pressure 2-4 atm and specific flow in over-membrane space 3700-3900 l(hr sq.m) involving roll membrane elements. The first step allows desalting of saturated absorbent to be performed by pumping the latter through two in series disposed membrane installations at temperature 18-25 C to separate first chloride ions and then calcium ions, respectively. In the second step, desalted absorbent is dried by way of pervaporation at 57-60 C. EFFECT: achieved very low moisture and salt levels is regenerated desiccant and increased reliability of equipment. 7 cl, 1 dwg
