LIQUIDOMETER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: measurement of level of dielectric liquids. SUBSTANCE: liquidometer has capacitive cylindrical level detectors electrically insulated one from another which ends are positioned at same level. Level detectors include coaxial cylindrical electrodes arranged coaxially one relative to another. Two coaxial screens as minimum are placed between adjacent level detectors and electrically insulated from level detectors. Ends of level detectors set at same level are fixed by means of coaxial screen bushings which are placed in interelectrode space of each level detector, are electrically insulated from level detectors and are anchored by one end faces, other end faces of screen bushings are located in one plane perpendicular to axis of level detectors. First screen installed between adjacent level detectors comes as bushing mounted between fastening members and anchored by one end face. Second screen is fabricated in the form of coaxial members joined by tube, one member being attached to one ends of level detectors and others, one or more, being placed opposite to other ends of level detectors. Second screen is fixed with regard to level detectors with the aid of electric insulation members. EFFECT: diminished dimensions of liquidometer. 3 dwg
