FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: capacitive level gauge is intended for measurement of level of dielectric liquids in tanks, in particular, of level of liquid fuels in tanks of rocket carriers. It can also be used in oil refining and chemical industries. Cylindrical coaxial electrodes electrically insulated one from another are arranged on screen made in the form of bushings joined by tube. Tube passes in space of internal electrode and is electrically insulated from it. On one bushing electrodes are anchored by screws and nuts and are electrically insulated., another bushing is put on opposite butts of electrodes. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy thanks to elimination of influence of spurious capacitance from edge effect on butts of electrodes on linearity of characteristic of gauge. 1 dwg
