FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: proposed interferometer includes beam splitter BS and two scanning mirrors M1, M2 that are placed in parallel on common sliding member which can move linearly. In addition interferometer has two compensation mirrors M3, M4 positioned between beam splitter BS and scanning mirrors M1, M2. Beam splitter BS and each compensation mirror M3 or M4 are located orthogonally. Interferometer shows fine tolerance for inaccuracy in displacement of scanning mirrors M1, M2. Given interferometer can be used in manufacture of compact and inexpensive Fourier transform spectrometer. EFFECT: decreased cost and compactness of Fourier transform spectrometer. 6 cl, 5 dwg
