FIELD: laser systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser systems and specifically to devices for generating 3D ellipsoidal laser pulse. Laser pulse 3D structure generator includes laser pulse shaping units in vertical plane and in horizontal plane, consisting of diffraction grating, cylindrical lens and placed in the Fourier plane of the compressor of a dielectric mirror with an angle of incidence of 0° with analogue masks, as well as a laser pulse profiling unit in a cross section, comprising a third analogue mask. Beam transportation and turning units provide the image transfer of the formed sharp spatial-temporal boundaries of the pulse, as well as bypassing 3D structure shaper of the laser pulses in two tiers.
EFFECT: providing a sharp boundary of this pulse, with small losses of radiation power, easy scaling of the beam along the transverse size of the input beam for different wavelengths, including harmonics of the fundamental frequency.
