FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves exfoliating the corneal stroma with two incisions in superficial layers of the created tunnel. Ring implant fragments prepared in advance are introduced through them. Ring is formed from the fragments. Two implant fragments are introduced in each incision. One of them is positioned clockwise in the tunnel, the other one is positioned counterclockwise until full junction of the upper and lower implant fragments is achieved. EFFECT: reduced risk of operative and postoperative complications; accelerated coalescence of wound.
