METHOD OF TREATMENT OF PATIENT WITH OPIUM NARCOMANIA Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, narcology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of patients with narcomania induced by sedative narcotics. Method involves intramuscular administration of 0.1% solution of atropin sulfate in a dose 0.05-0.15 ml/kg of body mass. In 2-4 h combination of 20% solution of sodium hydroxybutyrate and 0.5% solution of relanium is given orally as a single dose 12-34 ml in the ratio of components 5:1 and preparation containing 2-6 ml of 0.5% solution of relanium in combination of 1-6 ml of 2.5% solution of tisercin or 2-6 ml of 2.5% solution of chlorpromazine hydrochloride or 1-4 ml of 0.25% solution of droperidol is administrated by intramuscular route. In 10-16 h after onset of treatment and for 1-2 days pyrroxan is given orally in daily dose 0.09 g and sonapax in daily dose 0.075 g in combination with tazepam or phenazepam in daily dose 0.06 g and 0.0015 g, respectively. Vitamin therapy is carried out simultaneously. Beginning from 3-d day after onset of treatment and for 5-7 days maintenance drug therapy is carried out by intaking sonapax, pyrroxan and radedorm as tablets and in this stage of medicinal treatment the preliminary individual psychotherapeutic effect is performed. After this for one day the collective and individual psychotherapy is performed by formation the formula of "curative pledge" in patient consciousness.
