FIELD: toy construction set. SUBSTANCE: system has stackable blocks, each having body with row of equally spaced joining buttons disposed on upper part of block body and mated connecting members in lower part of block. Connecting members in lower part of block are adapted for joining to buttons of other similar blocks. Blocks are further provided with at least one separating member extending below block body part. Construction of separating members is such that when two blocks are stacked one upon the other, their body peripheral parts are arranged in spaced relation one with respect to the other, with height of joining buttons with respect to body part exceeding above-mentioned space between body parts of stacked blocks. Blocks may be readily separated one from the other by 2-3 year old children. EFFECT: increased amusing effect and simplified construction. 8 cl, 8 dwg
