Powdered enterosorbent, in particular, contains 50-60% of microcrystalline cellulose particle fraction 4-100 mcm and 40-50% of fraction 100-400 mcm. Enterosorbent is prepared by hydrolysis of native or extracted from vegetable tissues cellulose with 0.5-1.5% aqueous mineral acid solution at 110-130 C for 5 to 15 min followed by drying, disintegration, and fractionation to pick of microcrystalline cellulose particle fraction 40-400 mcm.
