FIELD: support of breakage faces. SUBSTANCE: powered support unit has base of two beams with possible limited displacement of one beam relative to the other and are hinged with each other in front part with the help of cross-member, and from rear side, with the help of tie. Connected with cross-member by means of turning support is ram installed under tie at an angle to horizon. The other end of ram is hinged to guide skid. Support unit has hydraulic props hinged to each beam, and guard connected with base by means of front and rear levers. Cross-member and tie are made in the form of all-metal shafts with limiting tubes. Cross-member is installed in ellipsoid holes with clearances. Tie is installed with clearances in cylindrical holes made in internal side sheets of beams. Tie is located between lower hinged supports of front and rear levers. EFFECT: increased adaptability of support unit base to floor irregularities and hypsometry of workings; higher operating reliability. 6 dwg
