FIELD: drilling equipment, specifically, design of gears to drill shallow holes of large diameter with dipping pneumatic strikers. SUBSTANCE: wt. % drilling gear has pneumatic striker with ribs on outer surface and drill bit on lower end. Upper end of pneumatic striker is anchored on drill column. Ribs on pneumatic striker are arranged along spiral, tube-slime container with ribs similar to those of pneumatic striker is attached to upper end of pneumatic striker, outside of drill column. EFFECT: decreased energy consumption, wear of drilling tools and increased velocity of drilling thanks to removal of large fractions of drill slime from face of hole. 1 dwg
