FIELD: mechanical engineering; fuel systems of CARBURETOR engines. SUBSTANCE: gas generator has housing with inlet hole for liquid fuel and outlet hole for generated gas, evaporating member made of hydroscopic material, separating perforated member, evaporating member saturation source - CARBURETOR float chamber, and device for delivering liquid fuel from saturation to evaporating member. Evaporating and separating members are coiled into spiral and installed freely in housing. Gas generator is installed in main metering system in pair with device for delivering liquid fuel from saturation source to evaporating member (accelerating pump atomizer). Evaporating member is made in form of tape, and separating member, in form of metal tape perforated in opposite sides. Perforation is made in form of holes with projecting edges. Area of surface of evaporating member is defined by absorbing capacity, physical properties and area of moistening of surface of evaporating member hydroscopic material per accelerating pump delivery. Gas generator is installed coaxially with accelerating pump atomizer in air supply main line. Gas outlet hole in housing is brought into minimum flow section of larger venturi.
