FIELD: variable-speed induction machines for transport and industry. SUBSTANCE: squirrel-cage winding has bars placed in core slots and split through their height into insulated elementary conductors as well as end plate built up of a number of elementary insulated rings each shorting out one and two elementary conductors of bar in each slot, respectively.
