FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: squirrel-cage rotor (6) of asynchronous machine (7) with a magnetically conductive body, in particular, core package (3), which is connected on end sides (10) of the magnetically conductive body by means of short-circuiting rings (2). Short-circuiting ring (2) is located at an axial distance from core package (3). Inside short-circuit rings (2) there is a support element made of high-strength material, which is connected to short-circuit ring (2) at least in separate sections with a material closure. Support element (9) on front side (20) and/or on back side (21) of short-circuit ring (2) has a radial expansion in the direction of air gap (16) and at least partially closes short-circuit ring (2) on front side (20) and/or on rear side (21). Between the respective end sides (10) of the magnetically conductive body and the corresponding side of short-circuiting ring (2), the radial extensions of support element (9) are made in the form of discs, teeth, or struts. In the region of shaft (4), passage (14) is provided in the support element, designed as support ring (9), so that cold air can pass axially to ensure cooling of the free sections of winding rods (17).
EFFECT: increasing the power of the asynchronous machine and reducing losses.
