SUBSTANCE: invention describes the novel fungicide bicomponent composition based on methalaxyl where more 70% of methalaxyl is presented as R-enantiomer (I) and this composition has the following additional components: II A) mancoceb, II B) chlortalonil, II C) copper salt, II D) folpet, II E) fluazinam and II F) cimoxanyl at weight ratio of I : II = (10:1)-(1:100). Invention describes also method of control and prophylaxis of plant infection.
