FIELD: personal holding, construction, public utilities; small-scale mechanization; trackless vehicles. SUBSTANCE: single-axle hand wheel barrow is designed for carrying loose materials and unit loads. Wheel barrow has scoop-like body with suspension connected to its bottom and made in form of axle with running wheels, and handle. Port is made in body bottom under which loose material spreader is installed. Spreader is made in form of rotor with chutes. Rotor is driven by suspension wheel through chain drive. Clutch consisting of two clutch members belonging to rotor drive is mounted on wheel axle. One of clutch members is made integral with suspension wheel hub, and the other is made integral with driving sprocket and is installed for displacement along wheel axle which is provided with nut and spring engaging with movable clutch member and hole locking movable clutch member in idling position by means of pin. Body bottom port is provided with plate made of strong flexible material. This port is furnished with gate designed for adjusting passage area by means of screw pair. Gate is made of strong flexible material. Wheel barrow has riddle installed in body above port and spreader rotor. Suspension of wheel barrow has additionally supporting roll with variable moment of rotation in vertical plane. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of wheel barrow owing to provision of loose material spreader and possibility of using the wheel barrow for spreading sand on side-walks in winter. 7 cl, 7 dwg
