METHOD OF DETERMINING OIL PRODUCT LOSES IN UNDERGROUND STORAGE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2152341 C1

FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sphere of underground storage of oil products, in particular, in rock salt, and it can be used for quantity evaluation of natural loses of oil products in process of operation of underground storages. Method comes to determination of power, open porosity and degree of saturation of zone of higher permeability on samples of country rocks. Relation between value of deformation and distance to underground storage boundary is preliminarily found, deformation values on intensive change section are chosen and samples of country rocks are loaded to chosen deformation values. Sought for losses of oil products are calculated by mathematical equation given in description of invention. EFFECT: increased accuracy of evaluation of product loses. 1 tbl, 2 dwg
