FIELD: biological cleaning of sewage. SUBSTANCE: aerotank consists of reservoir equipped with sewage inlet and discharge system and aeration system. Besides that, aerotank is equipped with contact carriers made from synthetic screens secured on metal frames which are turnable through angle of 0 to 270 deg relative to longitudinal axis. Partitions are mounted at angle relative to flow of sewage relative to flow of sewage; receiver provided with biomass return pipe line is mounted in area where partition adjoins wall. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning sewage to 90% according to BOD and to 99.2% according to ammonium nitrogen demand. 5 dwg
