FIELD: pulp-and-paper industry, in particular, equipment for pulp processing. SUBSTANCE: cavitational unit has reactor, cavitator positioned within reactor, diffuser and converging tube which are connected to reactor input and output, feeding pump and pipelines. Converging tube has feeding branch pipe within which is mounted supersonic gas mixer. Cavitational unit of such construction may be used for processing of pulps for producing cellulose, paper, cardboard etc. EFFECT: intensified pulp processing by introducing gas and steam flows into pulp. 4 cl, 1 dwg
