FIELD: construction, in particular, devices for protection of road slopes, bank slopes and pond beds, slopes of open pits of mining industry, as well as for construction of road base, water-development works, applicable for prevention of erosion of pond underwater bank slope. SUBSTANCE: the device has a pile of flexible polymeric strips arranged in several rows and interconnected in chess-board order in the length of the strips for formation of a cellular construction at extension of the strips in the direction normal to the surface of the strips; the cell walls of the cellular construction are made with a hole. The novelty is in the fact that the strips are joined by hot-pressure welding, the distance between the drain holes made on the cell walls is determined by relation: t=kd, where d-diameter of drain holes, and k-coefficient of filling of walls by drain holes, determined from range within 1.43 to 5.27, the welds are located in the strip section that is free of drain holes. EFFECT: enhanced stiffness of cell walls at maximum filling of their area by drain holes of various dimensions, rational arrangement of drain holes on the surface of cell walls, enhanced strength of welds, uniform distribution of loads on construction members of each cell and redistribution of these loads on the adjacent cells. 2 cl, 1 dwg
