FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: framework may be used for consolidation of slopes, overpass cones, coastline slopes, and beds of reservoirs and for reinforcement of road bases, airdromes, industrial and civil engineering structures. Earth-consolidation framework has cellular structure assembled of flexible polymeric bands placed on ribs and welded together in staggered manner. Novelty is that polymeric bands are joined together by means of linear seams under compression with staggered clamping points; size of clamping points and distances between them are from 2 to 5 mm, area of clamping points is 15-30 % of joint area. Framework is noted for high strength of welds, uniform distribution of thrusts on structural members of each cell and redistribution of these thrusts on adjacent cells due to interaction among filler materials of adjacent cells by means of holes in their walls. EFFECT: improved strength of framework and water-tightness of cell walls; enhanced reinforcing effect. 9 cl, 4 dwg
