FIELD: sea-wave-to- electric energy conversion. SUBSTANCE: mounted on front floating sections hinged together in bow side are gate valves secured through articulated joint which turn under the action of incident waves and are provided with counterpoises to ensure their reset; gate valves are separated from each other by means of partitions. Each gate valve is hinged to connecting rods and the latter are hinged to stems provided on their opposite sides in the form of racks with shaft-mounted driving gears imparting rotary motion through free-wheel clutch to reduction unit and generator. Each section has hinged connecting rods carrying slides on one end which move in guides and are secured on board of opposite section. Other ends of connecting rods are hinged to shaft fixed on board of other section in parallel with first one. Floating sections are provided with water- immersed turning shields. EFFECT: improved utilization of moving wave energy; increased capacity of power plant. 3 cl, 8 dwg
