FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: windmill rotor has vertical shaft mounted in bearing supports and provided with radial brackets uniformly arranged in two rows over circumference and secured in each row by means of two coaxial rings and external and internal vertical pins installed in pairs at each radius; it also has shaped blades hinged to external pins; distance between external and internal vertical pins at each radius is smaller than blade length; novelty is that each shaped blade is built up of two parts, that is, main part and root one, joined together over circumference arc through plate springs arranged along center line crosswise of blade section for engaging internal pins; internal vertical pins are fitted so that they allow for hub or ring rotation. Device is meant for use in wind-to-mechanical energy conversion units such as off-line wind-electric power plants. EFFECT: improved reliability of windmill. 2 cl, 3 dwg
