FIELD: mechanical engineering; abrasive machining of blanks. SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel has two metal tapes arranged on housing along screw line. One of tapes is rigidly secured and it carries coarse-grain abrasive layer. Other tape, carrying fine-grain abrasive layer, rests through hydroplast on thermobimetallic tape. The latter is connected with current source. Coarse-grain layer is secured on tape with interruptions, and fine-grain layer, uninterruptedly. EFFECT: increased capacity at grinding. 5 dwg
