FIELD: abrasive working of blanks in different machine engineering plants. SUBSTANCE: tool includes large-grain abrasive members stationary mounted on its body. Portions with small-grain abrasive layer are secured to movable members radially moved by means of radial motion mechanisms. The last are in the form of sleeves having duct with variable area of cross section and plungers with liquid in their cavity. At working by means of large-size members, small-grain members are smoothly moved in radial direction by inertia when liquid flows through inner ducts with variable cross section area inside movable member. Extension speed of movable members changes depending upon revolution number of grinding wheel, area of duct cross section and liquid viscosity. It allows to reduce rate of removing allowance at final step of grinding. EFFECT: lowered roughness of ground blank. 3 dwg
