FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with production of doping alloy. Method includes loading into electric furnace of charge consisting of manganese-containing material and basic flux, melting of charge to obtain oxide melts. Manganese-containing material is used in the form of manganese ore concentrate. Charge is melted in three-electrode arc furnace. In so doing, loaded between electrodes is prepared mixture of manganese ore concentrate and basic flux. Application of method results in reduction of process power capacity and specific consumption of materials, increased recovery of manganese, low content of carbon, phosphorus, silicon in produced manganese-containing alloys, extension of raw material base for production of manganese alloys due to utilization of substandard raw materials and oxide wastes of production processes, wastes of slag discharge and metal pouring, dust sublimates from arc furnace gas cleaning devices.
