FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to controlling density of cement mortars in the course of their preparation in jet-type hydromixers when drilling oil and gas holes. For that, mortar drop is accomplished by changing depression in admission chamber of hydromixer, in particular by reducing initial pressure, whose value is chosen from curves describing achievement of maximum depression in the chamber for simplified diameter of muzzle. In this case, pressure range, depending on density of solution being prepared and on use of standard diameters of muzzles, lies between 3.5 and 8 MPa. EFFECT: improved quality of mortar due to increased efficiency of mixing liquid and solid phases and to narrowed range of deviations of density in the process of preparation of mortar. 1 dwg
