FIELD: rocket engines for spacecraft. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention ion-optical system of given engines used several non- planar electrodes placed in series and manufactured by given method. Method involves coating of element-workstock by positive or negative photoresist, irradiation of photoresist, its etching and removal of electrode above parts of grid or above grid intervals. Mentioned coating can be conducted prior to formation of non-planar element from planar one. Invention makes it possible to increase precision of positioning of holes in non-planar electrodes and to improve by this functional characteristics of ion-powered engine including its service life. EFFECT: increased precision of positioning of holes and enhanced service life of low-thrust ion-powered engine. 10 cl, 18 dwg
