SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary processing of digital TV video signal from object image by means of selection of its pieces corresponding to brightness anomalies in object image, detection of meaningful elements in it, generation of reference mask. Relative correlation function is produced from elements defined by reference mask. Respective tracing device has serial circuit of unit for suppression of digital TV signal pieces with uniform brightness, and highlighting its pieces, which correspond to brightness anomalies in object image by means of source image memory unit, unit for detection of information elements, unit for generation of reference mask, reference address memory unit and address control unit, and storage of reference image.
