FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: waste water is successively filtered through adsorbent beds based on activated alumina, sulfonated coal, hydrated aluminum oxide, and birch activated carbon at beds' ratio 1:3:2:3. Hydrated aluminum oxide is prepared at 50-60 C by interaction of water with superfine aluminum powder prepared by electric detonation of aluminum wire in argon. EFFECT: improved quality of treating waste water containing petroleum derivatives, nitrogen-containing compounds, and surfactants. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl, 2 ex
