FIELD: sorbents. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of adsorbents based on oxide materials and can be used for increasing efficiency of processes of adsorption of organic and inorganic substances from aqueous solutions, treatment of industrial waste waters containing petroleum derivatives, phenols, and heavy metals, fine aftertreatment of drinking water, and isolation of useful components from solutions. Superfine aluminum powder with specific surface 5-10 sq.m/g obtained via electric explosion of aluminum wire in argon, treated with water at 50-60 C, calcined for 1-3 h at 200-300 C, boiled in saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate for 0.5-1.5 h, and calcined once more at 200-300 C for 1.5-3 h.
