FIELD: building industry, more particularly manufacture of light-weight concrete when erecting monolithic metallic structures. SUBSTANCE: raw mix comprises portland cement, wood aggregate and mineralizer which is essentially aqueous solution of iron chloride, ratios of components being as follows (wt parts): portland cement, 27.0-33.0; wood aggregate, 30.0-42.0; iron chloride, 2.3-2.9; and water 28.7-36.1. Wood aggregate is treated with 2/3 parts of prepared solution of iron chloride, cement is added while stirring and 1/3 of remaining solution of mineralizer is then added and is stirred to form homogeneous mixture. EFFECT: greater strength of arbolite and more technologically effective preparation process thereof. 3 cl, 1 tbl
