FIELD: construction machinery industry. SUBSTANCE: gas-pulse device relates to working tools for layer by layer breakage of ground mass in its preliminary working. Gas-pulse device has head penetrating into ground and connected to head tubular body with vessel for compressed air. Vessel is communicated with exhaust holes in body. There is a shaft installed in tubular body coaxial to it for reciprocation. Attached to shaft lower part is gear wheel engaged with cutting members of horizontal action installed in zone of exhaust holes. One more perfection of gas-pulse device is cutting members in the form of two racks installed in two guides. EFFECT: reduced specific power consumption and higher productivity. 2 cl, 3 dwg
