FIELD: conversion of energy of fluid medium; windmill electric generators. SUBSTANCE: windmill includes vertical shaft, vertical blades, wind vane and control mechanism. Shaft holds disk. Flat blades are rotatably mounted on disk; upper magnets secured on blades roots are engageable with lower magnets located on swivel platform connected with wind vane; control mechanism is provided with centrifugal speed governor fitted with slider, wedge and plate which are engageable with one another. Plate is mounted on platform for linear motion in direction perpendicular to plane of wind vane; slider of centrifugal speed governor is connected with plate through wedge; plate is engageable with lower magnets mounted for turn relative to their vertical axes. EFFECT: possibility of synchronizing rotational speed of windmill. 5 dwg
