FIELD: furnace technique; heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method consists in heat treatment under the following conditions: concentration of dust in carrying agent, mcm, 1,0 ≤ μ < 30, 50 < μ ≤ 400; temperature of preheating dust, t ( C ), 150 ≤ t < 500, 800 < t ≤ 1000; stoichiometric coefficient α02 of oxygen in preheating and pyrolysis (for starting fuel), 0,05 < α02 ≤ 0,20. Formation of nitric oxides is additionally reduced in the course of burning treated dust and pyrolysis products in furnace chamber. Device for thermal preparation of powdered fuel may be provided with several flue tubes 4 connected with one combustion chamber by separate gas ducts. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 38 cl, 16 dwg
