FIELD: data display on gas panels. SUBSTANCE: panel has two insulating plates one mounting insulation covered display electrodes and other panel, control electrodes alternately covered with insulating layer containing low-melting glass and with phosphor; it also has insulating barriers provided on at least one of insulating plates; control electrodes have additional layer of high-melting insulating material fitted between insulating layers and phosphor. High-melting emissive insulating material and phosphor are applied to side walls of barriers in layer-by- layer manner which prevents reduction in phosphor luminescence caused by changes in phosphor lattice structure when foreign material atoms appear in the course of thermal procedures.
