FIELD: tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: tobacco leaves are treated with an aqueous solution of jasmonic acid salt with alkaline metals and/or ammonia, kept for 2 h (not less), dried and treated with heated nitrous oxide containing vapors of monocarboxylic organic saturated acid. EFFECT: improved reliability of storage and safety.
