FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that the patient's ophthalmotonus is reduced by eye compression by the tonograph sensor during continuous 10-min ophthalmosphygmography. Tolerant intraocular pressure is determined by the maximum value of ophthalmotonus, at which the best indices of the ophthalmosphygram of the specific patient are recorded. At a tolerant intraocular pressure the amplitude of the ocular pressure pulse is within 0.8 to 1.0 mm Hg, and the index of intraocular blood circulation - within 2.0 to 2.8 cu.mm/mm Hg. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of estimation of efficiency of drug hypotensive therapy and necessity of transition to surgical phase of glaucoma treatment. 1 ex
