FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: grinding wheel is used for final machining of blanks by abrasive wheels. Grinding wheel has body carrying coarse-grained abrasive layer and moving members having fine-grained abrasive layer. Moving members are hingedly connected to mechanism of their radial motion through pushers. The mechanism is shaped as a central distance ring. Hydraulic cylinder hingedly connected to central distance ring and to wheel body is used for automatic transition from step of preliminarily grinding to final grinding step. Hydraulic cylinder is supplied with oil from controlled pressure source positioned beyond wheel. EFFECT: higher efficiency and broadened technological properties of the instrument. 3 dwg
