PROCESS OF MOUNTING OF GLASS-FRAMED ADDED ELEVATOR SHAFT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: process of mounting of glass-framed added elevator shaft from metal polyhedral sections forming openings for glazing includes mounting of frames in framework and their glazing. PVC profiles are used for facing of frame and lining members. Some frames are joined by vertical binding to angular profiles having angles equal to angles between planes of adjacent openings and some frames are matched with vertical profiles before assembly in framework. Frames with vertical and angular profiles are set in each section in turn along perimeter. Frames are assembled in framework from bottom upwards starting from frames fitted with angular profiles, each frame being fixed in opening of section temporarily. After assembly of all frames in framework frames are put into project position and are finally attached to upper belts and columns of sections and horizontal profiles are placed between horizontal bindings of adjacent frames.
