FIELD: detection of sources of radio emission. SUBSTANCE: method of location of sources of radio emission consists in measurement of azimuth and angle of elevation of ionospheric radio wave from source of radio emission, in measurement of altitude- frequency characteristic of ionosphere by way of its vertical sounding in point of measurement of azimuth and angle of elevation, in determination of median characteristics of ionosphere above area of measurement of angles of arrival and in point of reflection of radio wave, in determination of increment of parameters of ionosphere along path of propagation of radio waves, in making altitude-frequency characteristic model of ionosphere in point of reflection of radio wave more precise with due account of data of vertical sounding and prediction, in computation of angles of longitudinal and lateral inclination of reflecting layer of ionosphere in the vicinity of point of reflection of radio wave and in trajectory computation of coordinates of source of radio emission. Altitude-frequency characteristic of ionosphere is additionally approximated by means of polynomial after its measurement by way of vertical sounding in point of measurement of azimuth and angle of elevation. After this altitude-frequency characteristic of ionosphere in point of reflection of radio wave is corrected. Polynomial of second degree f(h)=f(h) = α01h+α2h2, is used in the capacity of approximation polynomial f(h). Polynomial coefficients are found by iteration method.
