FIELD: photographic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has casing that mounts setting drum free to turn about device shaft coupled with first curtain of shutter. Cylindrical cam is kinematically linked with and coaxially mounted relative to setting drum. Mounted on same shaft and attached through spring to cylindrical cam is stepped cylindrical cam engageable with disk cam which is free to turn about device shaft and is linked through its dog with drum of second curtain of shutter. Device incorporates braking pawl mounted on its respective pin. Disk cam is provided with additional cam that may be made, for example, in the form of eccentric; spring fitted between casing and braking pawl pin is engageable with additional cam. EFFECT: increased shutter-time range, improved stability and uniformity of exposure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
