FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to optical instrument-making and may be used in aerial photo coverage. Mechanism of image shift compensation contains casing, in which leveling table is installed with drive for its alternating motion in plane that is perpendicular to optical axis of aerial camera, and drive that decelerates its motion. Displacement drive and braking drive are combined into single autonomous drive arranged in the form of erection torque motor. It is rigidly fixed in casing of compensation mechanism from the side of leveling table, along which the motion takes place. On drive shaft of erection torque motor flexible tapes are fixed at pulley with their one end, which interact with their other end with leveling table for its displacement. Additionally feedback is introduced in the form of potentiometer, which is also rigidly fixed in casing of image shift compensation mechanism for the side of leveling table, along which the motion takes place. Besides, magnetic connection is introduced to fix the leveling table in relation to casing of image shift compensation mechanism.
EFFECT: increase of aerial camera accuracy and reliability, expansion of functional resources.
