FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: wheel chair has seat, back, arm rests, footboard with foot support and frames with wheels. Frames are interconnected through tubular members. Wheel chair is equipped with back and footboard position fixation device. Back is made detachable and is provided with rotary arm. Detachable head rest mounted on rotary arm allows comfort and resting to be provided. Head rest position in vertical plane and inclination angle may be regulated. Cushion is aligned with seat cushion having base with spacer formed as roll and positioned in base mid portion. Depth of positioning of roll may is regulated by C-clamp. Rear rotatable wheels mounted on side frames are made self-regulated for providing maneuverability. Front nonrotary wheels of the same size are connected with their front portions by bar. Removable netted basket is positioned on bar and frames. Elbow rests are made in the form of U-shaped bracket with support. Support having base and cushions is smoothly joined to footboard with feet support. Support has foot backs and retaining belts. Wheel chair is adapted for rolling over open grounds with hard covering, and may be used for indoor and out-of-door transportation of invalid children or children with cerebral paralysis.
