FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of moisture content, specifically, in components of food-staffs and fodder in measurement channel with microwave-sensitive element. SUBSTANCE: sensitive element comes as part of measurement section in the form of three-lamellar conductor. Conducting properties of sensitive element filled with loose product are measured and obtained data are used to determine and then to control moisture content of product with account of measured temperature and apparent density. Measurement channel is manufactured as by-pass and weighing section and is fitted with member of backward head for loose product on side of outlet. Rod placed across flow of loose product is utilized as part of sensitive element. Technical result of invention consists in development of microwave process and gear used easily in practice for measurement of moisture content of freshly wetted wheat and in control of water supply in correspondence with specified value obtained on basis of this approach. EFFECT: improved reliability of process and gear. 11 cl, 7 dwg
