SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hepiron composition showing prolonged effect and containing, wt.%: hepiron hydrochloride, from 0.5 to 12.0%; cellulose polymeric matrix, from 70 to 85% and corresponding amount of pharmaceutical vehicles. Hepiron-base medicinal forms release 90-95% of active component hepiron for from 18 to 24 h. Hepiron preparation is used for treatment of patients with depression, dysthymia, nervous disorders, fear attacks. New hepiron compositions provide suitable schedule of preparation intake: once per 24 h, nonsignificant changes of plasma blood hepiron.
