AUTOMATED PLANT FOR MAKING HONEYCOMB FILLER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: making of tubular paper and cardboard articles. SUBSTANCE: automated plant for making honeycomb fillers from roll material has the following devices installed in tandem on bed frame in direction of production process: roll holders, guide rollers, gluing devices with gluing and pressure rolls and winding drum with pressure device and rotation drive. Each gluing device has arrangements for adjusting clearance between pressure and gluing rolls and adjusting thickness of flue layer on gluing roll. The latter is mechanically coupled through flexible drive with drive roll installed on bed frame before gluing roll. Drive roll engages with spring-loaded pressure roll through roll material. Pressure and gluing rolls and glue bath are installed for quick demounting. Gluing roll is made up of tandem-mounted gluing disks and inserts secured on shaft. EFFECT: improved quality of honeycomb filler and convenience in operation, enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 7 dwg
