FIELD: electrical engineering, manufacture of electric contacts containing silver. SUBSTANCE: contact elements are manufactured in accordance with invention from working layer 3 by sintering and sublayer 2 by stamping from sheet material in advance. Stack of contact elements is assembled in recess 5 and is squeezed by means of electrode 6 with contact holder 1. Stack of electric contact is heated by pulse current ( burst of pulses ) till sublayer 2 is fused. Short-term current of large value is used for heating. Working layer 3 based on silver will not dissolve in metal and ceramic sublayer 2 under these fusion conditions. Working surface of electric contact is formed simultaneously in process of fusion. EFFECT: simplified technology of manufacture of electric contacts with thin working layer from three heterogeneous materials. 1 dwg
