FIELD: welding production, possibly turbomachine engineering, namely restoring length of blade of compressors of gas turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding additive wire 6 of material whose chemical composition is similar to that of blade material along line tangent relative to end of blade 2 and elastically forcing wire to end of blade 2 and to stopper-crystallizer 3. Working surface "a" of stopper-crystallizer is arranged equidistantly relative to mean line of blade end. It provides accurate positioning of additive wire 6. Wire 6 and end of blade 2 are heated until temperature of melting metal and forming welding bath. The last includes two separately acting cooling zones: surface "a" of stopper-crystallizer 3 and end of blade 2 cooled by means of contact areas "b". Working surface of contact areas is arranged along generatrices of blade 2. It provides reliable contact along the whole surface of blade 2 and uniform removal of heat fluxes out of welding bath along welding on zone due to different width values of contact areas "b". EFFECT: possibility of providing identical crystallization conditions for the whole welding bath. 3 cl, 2 dwg
