FIELD: confidential communication, applicable as a means for protection against listening to confidential negotiations conducted indoors or in open space. SUBSTANCE: method consists in generation of an electrical noise signal within the frequency range of masked acoustic signals, conversion of the electrical noise signal to a masking noise acoustic signal, the mixture of the masked acoustic signals and masking noise acoustic signal is converter to an electrical signal subtracted from which is the electrical noise signal within the frequency range of masked acoustic information by means of a two-channel digital adaptive filter, whose output signal is converter to acoustic signals by means of headphones according to the number of participants of negotiations. The concept of the claimed device consists in the fact that the device for protection of confidential negotiations, having a series-connected generator of electrical noise signal within the frequency range of masked acoustic information and an electroacoustic radiator, additionally uses a device for processing the masked acoustic information, which has a microphone, headphones according to the number of participants of confidential negotiations and a two-channel digital adaptive filter, connected to whose first input is the microphone output, connected to the second input is the second output of the generator of electrical noise signal within the frequency range of masked acoustic information, and headphones - to the output.
